Can I have a minute of your time
Welcome to this edition of “Can I have a minute of your time”?
Romans 5:3-4 3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Listen…When everything is going great we can tend to lose our spiritual focus. But when we’re experiencing trials we focus on God like a laser beam.
Henry T. Blackaby said, “Wisdom is not what you know about the world but how well you know God.” There is no greater time to grow in an intimate knowledge of God than when you are going through hard times.
“Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe, and have faith that everything will work out for the best.”
“God gave you this life because he knew you were strong enough to live it.”
When we suffer…we can actually grow in Christ. We are not cursed, that is so far from the truth.
We can experience God unlike others around us. We have the opportunity to pray and enter into His presence in an instance. What a resource we Christians have!
