It's all perception.....depending on what you see
It’s all perception …depending on what you see!
It’s amazing to me that I view something as impossible, then I see it happen!
Just when you have determined that the thing you want or need to happen is never going to take place God has a way of saying” now that you have given it up and cease to want to control the entire situation if you don’t mind I’d like to take a crack at it”
That’s when everything changes.
24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
What are the disciples actually saying to Christ in verse 25?
“If this guy who has followed all the rules and has all the money he will ever need in this world and has lived a moral life can’t get in, how can we who have nothing …. Get everything?”
You see, once again it comes down to perception. We think something is impossible because we can’t see it happening.
In the case of Joshua, here he was, the supreme leader of Israel, without question. Yet the Commander of the Lord’s Army showed up and he immediately took his sandals off and bowed face down. This is Jesus Christ face to face with Joshua. Nothing changes your perception quicker than meeting Jesus. Suddenly everything is possible.
A military commander following the orders to walk around a city and shout and then everything will collapse and the city will be yours would be unheard of today. It would make no sense. To our human understanding it will never make sense. But to God, it’s just another thing He does at His whim and at His pleasure for His children.
Nothing, literally nothing , is impossible for God.
Ask God , trust, wait and watch for mighty working His hands!
